ROCK N’ ROLLUPS
A perfect make-ahead lunch for school, these healthy, veggie-packed wraps are sure to rock any lunchbox. For a reduced-fat version, substitute Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Light or Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Fat Free bottled dressings. You’ll need:
2 tablespoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® bottled dressing*
1 whole wheat flour tortilla
Veggies cut in strips, such as;
3 tablespoons red peppers,
3 tablespoons matchstick carrots,
½ cup shredded lettuce,
1 tablespoon olives and
3 tablespoons tomatoes<
2 ounces shredded turkey or ham (leftovers are good here)
Plastic wrap
Instructions:
- Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on the table.
- Put a tortilla on it.
- Add some Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® bottled dressing* and spread it around, almost to
the edges.
- Pile on the meat and veggies. Place them in the middle of the tortilla in an oval.
- Next, take one edge of the tortilla and turn about a ½ inch of it in toward the center. This will keep the veggies from squeezing out the bottom of the roll when you bite into it.
- Now, take a side edge and start to roll across the tortilla.
- The last step is to move the Rock n’ Rollup to the edge of the plastic wrap and roll it up in the wrap.
- Twist the ends tightly, and it's ready to go into your lunch bag.
