Flower Power Bell Peppers and Ranch Dip

Prep Time: 15 minutes or as long as kids want!
Serves: 6 – 8

You’ll need:
1/2 cup Hidden Valley® The Original Ranch® Dressing Light and extra for thinning mixture into dip
8 oz fat-free cream cheese
2 red bell peppers
2 green bell peppers
2 yellow bell peppers
2 orange bell peppers

Instructions:

  1. Mix together the cream cheese and Hidden Valley® The Original Ranch® Dressing Light dressing; chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  2. Wash and seed bell peppers. Precut them into various shapes: circles, half circles, triangles, half-moons etc.
  3. Let kids spread the ranch-cheese mixture onto the backs of the bell pepper and encourage them to use their imagination to create fun and tasty edible flowers.
  4. Add additional Hidden Valley® The Original Ranch® Dressing Light to the ranch-cheese mixture and serve it in a flower pot on the side as a dip. Here are a few examples to get the creative juices flowing:

Crazy Daisy: Place a large orange bell pepper circle in the center; attach 6 smaller yellow bell pepper circles for petals; add a green bell pepper for stem and leaves.

Tulip Bouquet: Cut jagged edges into the tops of orange, yellow, and red bell peppers; add green bell pepper for stem and leaves.

* Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® bottled dressing can be substituted with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Light or Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Fat Free bottled dressings.
